Who was the most powerful warrior in the Mahabharata? Arjun, Bhishma, Karna or someone else?

 Undoubtedly 'Lord Krishna'.

But He is Paramabrahma, He is omnipotent so it is not reasonable to compare anyone with Him. For this reason, it is better to keep him away from it.

It is very difficult to say who is the strongest, so let's first see who is the strongest by describing their strength. 'Bhishma, Karna, Arjuna or Bhima', or someone else?

Karna

1 / Karna was the 'son of the Sun god', that is why he was a very brave warrior.

2 / He was born with 'Divine armor and earrings'.

3 / He was a disciple of 'Parashuram' and Parashuram gave him many powerful weapons like 'Agneastra, Barunastra, Nagastra, Vargabastra and Ekpurushatini'.

4 / Parasurama taught Karna to run 'Brahmastra' but later he cursed Karna which resulted in Karna forgetting its application when great fear appeared.

5 / By donating armor and ear rings to Devaraja Indra, he got the infallible 'Vaijayanti weapon'.

6 / During the abduction of Duryodhana's wife 'Vanumati', he alone defeated all the Kshatriyas.

7 / During Duryodhana's 'Vaishnava Yajna' he conquered Digvijaya for Duryodhana.

8 / He killed "Mahabali Ghatotkach by applying  Basbi Shakti (Vaijayanti weapon)".

9 / He defeated 'Yudhisthira, Bhima, Nakul and Sahadeva'.

Bhim

1 / Bhima was 'Pawanputra', that is why he was infinitely strong from birth.

2 / After Duryodhana conspired and poisoned Bhima and set him on fire, by the grace of 'Nagraj Basuki' he got the power of ten thousand elephants.

3 / He was a great 'gadadhari and dhanurdhari'. He learned weapons from 'Dronacharya, Kripacharya and Balaram'.

4 / 'Hidimba Rakshas, Bok Rakshas, Magadha emperor Jarasandha, Virat's general Mahabali Kichak, 105 Upakichak and Dhritarashtra's hundred sons' was killed by Mahabali Bhima.

5 / Mentioned in the Mahabharata 'Maharshi Vaishampayan', Bhima was always eager to accomplish terrible deeds, for this reason Bhima was the main recourse of the Pandavas when burning Yatugruha in Barnavarta. Bhimai crossed the inaccessible pass and went to fetch thousands of lotuses for Draupadi.

6 / Bhima never felt fear or guilt in anything, for this reason everyone bowed their heads in front of the Narayan weapon sought by Ashwatthama, but he did not bow his head. And from the first day of the war, he fought with all his might, where Arjuna would hail the front of his grandfather Bhishma.

7 / Bhima was very violent for his enemies, so he did not hesitate to drink the blood of Dushasan. In the ensuing battle, where Karna had defeated Bhima only once, Bhima had defeated Karna many times.

8 / Karna could not save 'Dushasan' from Bhim.

Arjun

1 / He was "an integral part of Narayan and the son of Devaraja Indra". That is, Arjuna originated in the combined power of 'Lord Vishnu and Devaraja Indra', so naturally Arjuna is endowed with infinite power.

2 / He was the main disciple of 'Guru Drona', so Guru Drona gave him "Brahmastra and Brahmashirastra's weapon four times more powerful than Brahmastra". There were also innumerable weapons in Arjuna's arsenal which cannot be said to be finished.

3 / Arjuna knew all kinds of weapons, all kinds of tactics and the science of destruction.

4 / Arjuna was 'Sabyasachi' meaning his two hands were equally skilled and he fought with equal skill even at night.

5 / Although Yudhisthira and Bhima were his predecessors, they always obeyed Arjuna's orders on the battlefield. For this reason, in the battle of Kurukshetra, he was appointed as the Commander-in-Chief and Commander-in-Chief.

6 / When Duryodhana is defeated against Draupada along with his brothers, Karna and Sena, Arjuna captures Draupada with only Bhima, Nakula and Sahadeva. It is to be noted that at this time Karna was defeated by the Draupadas with his armor-kundal but Arjuna defeated and captured him without Gandiv bow, Akshay Tun and Kapidhwaj Rath.

7 / In Draupadi swamvar Arjun defeated all the Kshatriyas including Karna. At this time Karna had his armor-kundal but Arjuna still did not get Gandiv bow, Akshay Tun and Kapidhbhaj Rath.

8 / Then he received the gift of "Agnidev's Gandhiv Dhanuk, Akshay Toon and Kapidhbhaj's amazing chariot" by which he defeated Devaraja Indra.

9 / He got the gift of marrying "Ulupi, the daughter of the serpent, so that he became invincible in the water and he had dominion over all the aquatic creatures".

10 / When Lord Krishna with Bhima and Arjuna went to the Magadha emperor 'Jarasandha' in the guise of Brahmin, he asked Jarasandha to choose one of the three of them for wrestling. That is to say, Lord Krishna also had complete faith in the arm strength of Arjuna.

11 / He obtained the destructive 'Pashupat Astra' by pleasing Mahadev by austerities.

12 / He went to heaven and got innumerable divine weapons.

13 / He alone destroyed the mighty 'Nibatkabach and Kalkeya Asuras' who were three crores in number and also disobedient to the gods.

14 / Arjuna conquers Digvijaya during Yudhisthira's Ashwamedha Yajna.

15 / When Duryodhana was captured by the Gandharvas during the exile of the Pandavas, but Karna could not save him, then Arjuna defeated the Gandharvas and freed Duryodhana.

16 / In the 'Virat battle', Arjuna defeated all the Kaurava soldiers including 'Bhishma, Dronacharya, Karna' by applying 'Mohini weapon'.

17 / Arjuna gave Sarasaya to Bhishma. Arjuna alone defeated Bhagadutta and Sushrma and his associates.

18 / Dronacharya himself told Duryodhana that he could not cross Arjuna and capture Yudhisthira, so he removed Arjuna from the battle and then composed Chakrabuh.

19 / On the fourteenth day of the war, Arjuna destroyed Kaurava's army in such a horrible manner that Yudhisthira saw it and said, "It seems that Arjuna has attained heroism and Keshab himself has come down in battle in his place. He may end this war today, so this great destruction."

20 / When Ashvatthama applied the weapon of Brahmashira, Arjuna was also forced to apply the weapon of Brahmashira, but Arjuna was able to take back what Ashwatthama could not.

21 / When Sindhu Raj Jayadratha prayed to Mahadev for the purpose of defeating the Panchpandavas, Mahadev gave him the gift of being "invincible for all the warriors of the world except Arjuna for one day. In other words", Mahadev himself cannot give more power than Arjuna.

22 / There was a reason behind not giving the gift of Mahadev. According to the Srimad-Bhagavatam Mahapuran, "When Lord Krishna crushed the pride of Devaraja Indra by holding the Govardhana mountain, Devaraja Indra apologized to Lord Krishna and requested him to take charge of his son Arjuna". Maybe this is the reason why Mahadev did not give Jayadratha the gift of defeating Arjuna.

Bhishma

1 / Gangaputra Bhishma was the incarnation of Basu named 'Dyu' and was a disciple of Parasurama.

2 / He was incomparable in all kinds of weapons and in all kinds of wars.

3 / From the father 'Shantanu' he received 'icchamrityu', which can also be called a kind of immortality.

4 / During the abduction of 'Kashiraj's' three daughters 'Amba, Ambika and Ambalika', he alone defeated all the Kshatriyas.

5 / In the battle of Kurukshetra, he alone would destroy at least 'ten thousand' soldiers every day.

6 / Arjun could never defeat him directly. Even his four arrows were enough to kill the other four except Arjun.

7 / In the great battle, Arjuna knocked out the entire Kaurava army with Mohini's weapon, but Bhishma did not faint, he pretended to faint. That means Mohini's weapon does not affect him.

8 / When he went to war against Lord 'Parashuram', Parashuram could not defeat him even by using all his power. Then the sages manifested and said to 'Parashuram', "This Gangaputra is one of Bhishma Ashtabasu, he is invincible, so it is better to refrain from your war."

9 / He destroyed the battle of Kurukshetra so horribly that Lord Krishna himself was forced to take up arms against him.

10 / He was the commander for the first 10 days of the war, while he was the commander 'Bhima' could not kill a single son of Dhritarashtra.

11 / Mahabali He suppressed 'Ghatotkach', but as soon as he withdrew from the war, Ghatotkach became horrible.

12 / In the end, not finding a way to his death, Panchpandava remembered him, and in the way he told, Arjuna gave him sharashjya in front of 'Shikhandi'.

So far, the most powerful of these four is "Bhishma> Arjuna> Bhima> Karna."

But in the Mahabharata there was a warrior stronger than Bhishma.

Barbarik

Originally there is a reference to Barbarik in the 'Skanda Purana'.

Barbarik was "grandson of Bhima and son of Ghatotkach, Barbarik's mother's name was Maurabi."

"By worshiping the barbarian Navadurga, he gained three infallible arrows. With these arrows he will destroy as many of them as he can and return to him."

He promised 'Hedimba', the grandmother of Barbarik, that he would fight on the side of the weak. Because Hirimba thought the Pandavas were weak. But this is his period. The Pandavas were overjoyed when they learned that Barbarik could finish the battle in an instant with his infallible arrow.

But Lord Krishna showed him that even if the entire Kaurava army was destroyed as a result of his first arrow search, 'Bhishma, Kripacharya and Ashvatthama' would be protected, so Kaurava's side would be weakened and Barbarik would be forced to destroy the Pandava side by the second arrow because of his promise. The result will be only destruction.

After seeing this result, he voluntarily "offered his head at the feet of Lord Krishna" with his infallible arrow. Before handing over, however, he said as a last wish that he wanted to see a full-fledged war.

Lord Krishna then resurrected his severed head and placed it on a hill. He said, "O great barbarian, this head of yours will always be alive and you will see everything. In Kali Yuga, you will be worshiped and I will accept your worship as my worship. You will be known by my name in this form, everyone will call you Khatushyam and you are the refuge of all the weak." It will help. "

Barbarik heared Srimad Bhagavata Gita from the lord Krishna and also saw the Viswarup of the Lord.

At present he has a temple in Rajasthan.
