According to the Puranas, the details of Yuga, Manvantar and Kalpa. The identity of Vaibaswat Manu and the incarnation of Matsya.

Who is Manu? Manu means 'father of the human race.'

In the Hindu religion, the period is divided into four ages. Those four ages are - "Satya, Treta, Dwapar and Kali. In 71 Chaturyuga there is one Manvantar (the word Manvantar means the heart of Manu) and in 14 Manvantar there is one kalpa. This is one day of Brahma, the creator of one kalpa." In other words, 14 Manus appeared in one kalpa. At present, 'Shwetabarah Kalpa' is going on, and the 14 Manus of this Shwetabarah Kalpa are - "Swayambhu, Swarochish, Uttami, Tamas, Rivhu, Chakshus, Vaibaswat, Savarni, Brahmasavarni, Dakshasavarni, Dharmasavarni, Rudrasavarni, Varunasavarni and Agnisavarni"( deferante purans describe deferent name).

We are currently living in the "28th Kali Yuga of Vaibhaswat Manvantar". Here is the story of the beginning of this transcendental transformation.

According to the Brahma Purana, Suryadev had two wives, named 'Sangya and Swarna (Chaya)'. From these two wives Suryadev had seven sons and four daughters, the eldest of whom was 'Satyabrata'.

Satyabrata, the son of the Sun, was appointed the lord of the earth at the very end of the eye change. At that moment, the whole universe shook violently. Frightened, all the gods asked Brahma to explain why the whole universe shook like this. Brahma told them, "This vibration is generated by Lord Vishnu," so Brahma took refuge in Lord Vishnu with all of them. Lord Vishnu told them, "Doomsday is coming. I have signaled this through this vibration. All the gods should leave their people and wait for that time." At the command of Lord Vishnu, the gods returned and waited.

Then an asura named 'Hayagrib' also understood the sign of doom so he stole the Vedas while Brahma was meditating in the hope of gaining immortality and hid in the sea. Lord Vishnu was watching everything. He landed in the river as a small fish. At that time 'King Satyrabata' offered offerings to Suryadev, then a small fish came up in his hand.

As soon as he released the fish into the water again, the fish prayed in human language, "Don't leave me in the water, the big fish will swallow me if I let it go". King Satyabrata then stuffed the fish in a kamandule and took it to his palace and kept it in a small container. Leaving the fish behind, the fish called to the king. The king turned around and saw that the fish had grown in an instant. Then the king put him in a big pot, but again his size increased in an instant. Thus the size of the fish kept increasing and the king kept changing the pot, but in the end the fish became so big that the king was forced to keep it in the lake of the palace. But after a while the lake became too small for him, so the king was forced to take him to the sea. But when kept in the sea, the fish takes the shape of a huge sea.

The king then clasped his hands and said, "You cannot be an ordinary fish, no doubt you are a divine power, please give a vision in real form." Then that fish came down in the form of "Four handed half-human half-fish", King Satyabrata realized that this fish itself was "Supreme Lord Vishnu."

Lord Vishnu said to the king, "Listen carefully, just seven days from today, the cataclysm will begin, so that the whole earth will be submerged. When that height is reached, a huge boat will come to you with my inspiration, then you will board the Sai boat with all of you. I will continue to sail with you in the flood waters. "

Lord Vishnu disappeared after saying so, and killed the demon hidden in the depths of the sea and returned the Veda to Brahma.

Exactly seven days later, the cataclysm began at the behest of Lord Vishnu. King Satyabrata got ready as per the word of God and boarded the boat. Lord Vishnu appeared in the form of a "huge golden fish with horns" as the boat was about to sink in the mighty tidal wave. Then 'Nagraj Basuki' was tied to the boat and the horns.

God continued to wander in the flood waters with them until the catastrophe stopped. At that time Lord Vishnu gave them various knowledge.

When the catastrophe stopped, King Satyabrata became the first man in the new world. His name is 'Vaibaswat Manu.' Vaibasvat means 'son of Bibasvan (Sun God)', and Manu means 'father of the human race.' We are currently living in the 28th Kali Yuga of this glorious transformation.
