Origin of Adyashakti Mahamaya
Energy is never created or destroyed, only transformed. In the same way Adyashakti Mahamaya Adi-Antahin, in 'Markandeya Purana' and 'Devi Bhagavata' he has been called devoid of creation and has been praised as Parameswari.
When time did not even exist before the creation of the universe, only "Paramabrahma, Parameshwara Bhagavan Srihari Vishnu" was sleeping in the eternal bed. Then Adishakti exists in his eyes in the form of 'Yoganidra'. And when Lord Vishnu's sleep is disturbed, he becomes known as 'Jogmaya' or 'Mahamaya'.
In the beginning, when he chanted 'Brahma' to be saved from the hands of 'Madhu-Katav', at that time his first manifestation came from the 'eye' of Lord Vishnu. For this reason she is called 'Vishnumaya'. In Vishnu Purana he is called 'Param Vaishnavi'. Jogmaya is usually formless but sometimes she is accepted as the 'Eight armed goddess', in this octagonal form she manifested in the 'prison of Kangs'.
There are usually three forms of the goddess Adi-Parasakti - 'Mahasaraswati, Mahalakshi and Mahakali.'
In the Brahmavaivarta Purana, Adishakti is called 'Radha'. According to this mythology, the first seven goddesses to originate from Adishakti are Gayatri, Savitri, Saraswati, Lakshi, Uma, Kali and Ganga.
