How did religion come to world ?

               When a person does not find any reason or cause for an event, he assumes that there is a miraculous power behind that event. Then people try to please him in various ways in order to save him from that miraculous power. Religion originates from such an idea of ​​man.

               Religion originated a few million years ago, about which one can only guess, even if one hundred percent accurate information is not available.

               In the Stone Age, when people hunted in groups with weapons made of stone, a group chased a white goat for hunting, but after going some distance for some reason they did not see the goat anymore but instead they found many large prey Gone. From now on their idea is that the white goat is a sacred creature, so it should be worshiped if it wants to get enough food. Since then, a strict ban has been imposed on white goat hunting.

              But this white goat worship and its hunting prohibition was only for that community. Other parties or communities knew nothing about it. The other group had their own form of worship, be it any other animal, stone, tree or human. But they only worshiped that object, they did not have the mental development to think that any god could reside in them. This is how religion originated on earth, and this type of religion was called 'Animism'.

                  Then when human civilization develops and man binds himself to the social system, then man has the idea that the things he needs all the time, such as - 'fire, water, tree', maybe the presence of a god in all these things, is another reason for this idea. The reason is that people are afraid of natural disasters like 'fires, storms, rains, thunderstorms'. So they think that if they can appease the gods who are in nature, they may be saved from natural disasters. In this way different gods are conceived and people start worshiping them. This type of religion is called 'Polytheism'. Polytheism was actually a modified form of Animism. In this type of religion multiple deities are worshiped. Such as - "Greek, Roman, Egyptian religion" belongs to this Polytheism.

                 Then human thinking develops and people imagine one God, which causes Polytheism to slowly erode. This type of monotheistic religion is called 'Monism'. The first of these religions is Judaism, which originated about 3800 years ago, followed by Christianity, which originated about 2000 years ago, and finally Islam, which originated about 1400 years ago. 

  

                 But among all these religions there is a religion which has gone through all the stages from Animism to Monism and all kinds of rules of worship are recognized in this religion. This religion is spread all over the world and it is the third largest religion in the world. This religion is the 'Sanatan Drahma'.
